RESOLUTION NO. 2003 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION RESCINDING APPROVAL OF THE CONTINGENCY PLAN <br />FOR REDUCTION OF 1986 STATF. AIDS AND <br />APPROVINC VARIOUS BUDGET TRANSFFRS <br />WHEREAS, forcasts by the State Department of Finance <br />indicated that the State of Minnesota would experience a <br />revenue shortfall in the current biennium; and <br />WHEREAS, proposals were introduced during the 1986 <br />Legislative Session to reduce State Aids to Cities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council adopted a Contingency Plan, in the <br />event, of reductions of State Aids, and froze certain items <br />contained in the 1986 Budget by motion February 24, 1986; and <br />WHEREAS, no reductions in State Aids to Cities were made <br />during the 1986 Legislative Session; and <br />WHEREAS, the adopted 1986 Revenue Sharing Budget <br />provided that $39,225 of anticiydLed Revenuc Sharing monies <br />would be used to offset the costs of fire protection services; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the full amount of estimated 1986 fire <br />protection services <br />was budgeted in the General Fund <br />due to <br />the uncertainty <br />which existed, at the time the Budqet <br />was <br />adopted, as <br />to the receipt of Revenue Sharing monies <br />in 19d6; <br />NOW THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council that <br />the <br />f:,llowing items be restored to the 1986 Budget; <br />100-110-4020 <br />Commissions, Salaries, Part-time <br />$ 840 <br />100-110-4303 <br />Commissions, Professional Services <br />4,000 <br />100-120-4910 <br />Administration, Contingency <br />4,000 <br />100-140-47C3 <br />Elections, Equipment <br />9,000 <br />100-200.4303 <br />Police Dept.
