Volkmann and Denny Platteter of NSP. <br />Tile mission of the FRC is to provide financial and operatiunal <br />capability for energy conservation programs which serve the <br />public good. In addition to acting as a lending agency for <br />%Pveral energy conservation improvement loan programs for single <br />,ind mulct -family pr oparI ies. the ERC di str ibnt es terhr,i cal <br />information on coriservaticn, techniques, <br />nver the paet four veara we have successfully administered a <br />series of diverse programs for financing energy improvements in <br />residential properties. We are now the single largest lender in <br />Minnesota for MtfFA's linme, Energy 1_oan Program. administer the <br />Cit.y's Solar Valli: Rental Subsidy program, and oper atrr a <br />nationally recognized Energy Management Service for rental <br />properties. Funding for these varied programs was developed <br />through the cooperativri efforts of the â–ºknising .and Redevelopment <br />niithority, First Trust Lompany of Saint Paul. the department of <br />Planning and Economic Development. of Saint PauI,MHFA. the <br />Mt*oight. Family Housliig Fund and NSP. In total we have <br />originated over 5 millicri dollars in loans since 1981 with a <br />staff of only six. <br />We have included a wide range of infw mation on the Energy <br />Resource Cetiter, which should enable yoi.i to evaluate the <br />corporation from a variety of prrsprctivrrs.
