OF JANITORIAL SERVICES CONTRACT <br />The Janitorial Services Contract is presently up for renewal. <br />Contract Cleaninq Services, our present service, has proposed an <br />increase in their monthly fee to $530 from the present rate of <br />$490 per month. This is an increase of approximately 89 over the <br />pievlous rate because of increased wages and insurance costs. <br />I have checked with various City staff members and all are <br />satisfied with the service that has been provided during the past <br />year. Recalling the experience that we had with the previous <br />service and keepinq in mind the positive experience we have had <br />with the present. service I recommend that the Janitorial Services <br />Contract he renewed at $530 per month for a pc�lcd cf one year. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the proposal of Contract Cleaning <br />Services in the amount of $530 per month for janitorial services <br />for the City Mall Building and authorize the Mayor and <br />Clerk -Administrator to enter into said contract. <br />DR/ds <br />LV <br />
