Petition from residents near 8439 Knollwood Drive <br />received May 12, 1986 (Attachment No. 4). <br />Mr. and Mr. Reinhardt at 2741 Ardan Avenue requested at the <br />last Council meetinq that the City remove the approximate 4 <br />font diameter and 5 foot high green concrete pipe from <br />their back yard. <br />H . PURPOSE <br />The purpose of this memo is to solicit direction and City <br />policy on storm sewer improvement requests and petitions. <br />III. BACKGROUND <br />The location of the work requests are indicated in Attach- <br />ment. Nn. 5. <br />1. Work Re ueat No. 1 (Attachment No. 1) - There is A storm <br />water stet on pon nn the C arbonneau Subdivision which <br />is located northwest of the intersection of Arden Avenue <br />and Eastwood Road. Tne detention pond was approved for <br />construction by a previous council. The pond presently <br />holds water for long periods of time because the proper- <br />ly nizcd ... •lct pipe !F plugged ;:r Wag oov..- ir,stalle:. <br />Staff could not locate the outlet pipe. Staff is <br />presently trying to located Mr. Charbonneau to have him <br />install the outlet pipe. The City has approximately <br />$1,000 worth of security from Mr. Charbonneau. If he <br />1 does not install the outlet pipe soon, the security will <br />be used to install the properly sized outlet pipe. <br />
