RESOLUTION NO. 2027 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE. OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SIIRMISSfON OF A GRANT APPLICATION <br />FOR A JUVF.NII,F, DELINQUENCY PREVENTION MINI -GRANT <br />WIIE.REAS, the Mounds View Public Schools have <br />requested that the City of Mounds View sponsor an <br />application to the Minnesota Department of Energy and <br />Economic Develnpnent Justice Grant Program for a juvenile <br />delinquency prevention mini -grant to conduct a project <br />entitled, "Its A Family Affair"; and <br />WHEREAS, said program will he designed to give a <br />community presentation on the prevention of interpersonal <br />violence and a resource fair; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View <br />to encourage such programs to deal with major social issues <br />of our times. <br />NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View that the Clerk -Administrator is <br />authorized to apply to the Department of Energy and Economic <br />Development for funding of the project and execute such <br />agreements as are necessary to implement the project on <br />behalf of the City of Mounds View. <br />(SEAL) <br />ATTEST: <br />4W <br />Adopted this 1/th day of July, 1986. <br />Mayor <br />Clerk-Admin strator <br />
