PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />July 14, 1986 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Linke at 7:06 PM on Monday, July 14, 1986. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />A moment of silence was observed in memory of the <br />victims of the past weeks tragedy. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Haake, Ilankner, <br />Blanchard, Quick and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and Public Works/Community <br />Development Director Thatcher. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve the June <br />23, 1986 minutes as presented. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Quick to approve the July 8, <br />1986 emergency session minutes as presented. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard/Haake to approve the July <br />9, 966 executive session .ninutes as presented. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Attorney Meyers reported that Resolution No. 2028 <br />had been prepared relative to the Williams pipeline <br />situation, and he reviewed the background. He <br />reported the City had met with Mr. Thomas of the <br />U.S. Department of Transportation last Friday and <br />verbally discussed retestinq and restarting procedures. <br />lie added he had spoken with an attorney for the DOT <br />to Washington, and was told that as a courtesy, they <br />ould send the City a copy of the order regarding <br />Williams Pipeline, but the copy had not yet been <br />received. <br />Call to order <br />2.
