Quick Mayor Links reported the Ramsey County League meeting Mayor Links would be held at the Falcon Ileights city hall on July 16. Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated that on behalf of 13. Report of City Staff, he would like to thank all who helped Clerk/ the City last week, fie added he feels Staff did an Administrator excellent job during the difficult time, and he will see to it that they are each thanked. Clerk/Administrator Pauley reminded everyone the American Red Cross will be conducting a session on dealing with stress at the Edgewood Community Center on July 16, from 7 to 8:30 PM. Clerk/Administrator Pauley asked authorization to temporarily hire back Rita Docken to assist at City Hall, while some personnel is on vacation, and to get caught up. Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to authorize the hiring o Riga Docken for up to 40 hours, at $8.34 an hour, to be charged to the Community Development department. 5 ayes 0 nays Clerk/Administrator Pauley asked that the Council give Staff direction on press releases, to coordinate the efforts of everyone involved. It was the consensus of the Council that press releases should go through the Clerk/Administrator's office, and they should be run past Attorney Meyers before they are released. Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the neighborhood update will not continue as frequently as it has been, as things have settled down, but will be done as new information is available. Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the City is in the running for the community block grant which it had applied for earlier. He added the report is going to the County Board. • Motion Carried
