REOPATII, CPA <br />To the Honorable Mayor and <br />Members of the City Council <br />City of Mounds View, Minnesota <br />He have examined the combined financial statements of the City of Hounds View, <br />Minnesota as of and for the year endei December 31, 1985, and have issued our <br />report thereon dated March 10, 1986. Our examination was made in accordance with <br />generally accepted auditing standards and the provisions of the Legal <br />Compliance Audit Guide promulgated by the Legal Compliance Taek Force pursuant <br />to Minnesota Statutes Section 6.65. Accordingly, thr examination included such <br />tests of the accounting records and ouch other auditing procedures as we con- <br />sidered necessary in the circumstances. <br />The Legal Compliance Audit Guide covers fire rain categories Of compliance to be <br />tested: contracting and bidding, deposits and investments, conflicts of <br />interest, public indebtedness, and claims and disbursements. Our study included <br />all of the above listed categories. The results of our tests indicate that for <br />the items tested, the City of Mounds View complied with the material terms and <br />conditions of applicable legal provisions. Further, based on these procedures <br />we noted no instances of noncompliance with the Regulations for the CITY OF <br />MOUITDS VIEW, MINNESOTA, for the year ended December 31, 1985. <br />This report is intended solely for the use of City of Hounds View and should not <br />be used for any other purpose.
