9t�-r CC <br />ORDINANCE No. 448 <br />CITY OF MOUNTS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNDS VIEW BY AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 40 ENTITLED, "ZONING" <br />The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby <br />ordain: <br />SECTION I. 40.02, Subdivision B, shall be amended by <br />adding the following: <br />86.0 Pet Store. A structure intended for the sale of <br />small domest sated animals. The provision of services for <br />pets such ar Grooming nay also be available. <br />SECTION II. 40.17, Subdivision. D, shall be amended by <br />adding the following: <br />(5) Pet stores provided that: <br />a. Noise and odor are effectively confined to <br />the premises in accordance with Ordinance No. <br />90, Public Nuisance. <br />b. The boarding of animals is prohibited except <br />for the purposes of retail sales. <br />c. A :mechanical ventilation or exhaust system <br />shall be installed to control, capture and <br />remove emissions or odors generated by such <br />use. Such systems shall be separate from the <br />other ventilation systems in the building. <br />Such system shall be desigr.ed to prevent. the <br />migration of emissions or odors to other parts <br />oL the building. Installation must oomph <br />with the Minnesota State Building Code <br />Mechanical Systems, Chapter 1341;. <br />SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect thirty <br />(30) days aftar the date of its publication. <br />Read by the Council of the City of Mounds View on the <br />day of �, 1988. <br />L <br />
