He stated the City's <br />appraiser has placed the value at $38,000 for the <br />entire parcel, but Mr. Hurley, attorney for the <br />owner, Julian Johnson, has counter offered at <br />$45,000, which is not negotiable. He stated funds <br />would be available from the Silver Lake Woods <br />account. <br />® Attorney Karney advised the costs of condemna- <br />tion could be quite high and he would not <br />recommend that alternative.
