PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />' � � , q Regular 0, 198o <br />Ai ���, <br />October 10, 1988 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds view, MN 55112 <br />----------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Linke at 7:04 PM on Monday, October 10, 1988. <br />The pledge of allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers 4uori, Quick, <br />Blanchard, Hankner and Mayor Links. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Karney, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and City Planner Herman. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Wuori to apparove the Septem- <br />ber 26, 1988 minutes as presented. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Bill Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road, asked how long it <br />vould be until absentee ballots went out. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained that is done at <br />a County level. They have not been printed yet and <br />he does not know t!eir schedule. The City does, <br />however, have the applications for absentea ballots. <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened the <br />first public hearing at 7:06 P11. <br />City Planner Herman reviewed the request of the <br />applicant to construct an oversized garage. She <br />.. i.:.,ea the rejnrit had nagead rwn ordinances this <br />past summar to allow garages greater than 864 s.f. <br />with a conditional use permit. She presented an <br />overhead map, showing the location of the lot within <br />the City, as well as the proposal for placement of <br />the garage on the lot. <br />City Planner Herman reviewed the conditions that <br />would be part of the permit, as well as all subsequent <br />permits for similar oversized garages.
