jt&i,-� 13 <br />MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COU CI <br />FROM: CLERK-ADMINISTRATO <br />DATE: OCTOBER 26, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: L-.=UE OF MINNESOTA CITIES 1989 PROPOSED <br />LEGISLATIVE POLICIES AND PRIORITIES <br />Attached please find a copy of the League of Mirnesota <br />Cities 1989 Proposed Legislative Policies and Priorities. <br />The League of Cities will be holding a policy adoption <br />meeting on November 16, 1988 which I plan on attending as <br />the City's representative. At that time the membership of <br />the League will be adopting these policies as the official <br />policies of the League of Minnesota Cities during the 1989 <br />Legislative Session. I would ask that Council review these <br />policies and if you have any objections to any one in <br />particui.ar, that you raise those at the November 7th Agenda <br />Session in order that we might discuss an alternative <br />position that the City of Mounds View could take during the <br />November 16th meeting. <br />Should you have any questions regarding these policies prior <br />to the November 7th Agenda Session, please do not hesitate <br />to contact me. <br />C, DFP/MJS <br />U <br />
