This upgrade was proposed to increase processing speed of major accounting applications and because the software we are presently using is being converted by Compuocanservicenotcrun thenon a Xenix Xenix operating system. Our present systempurchased. operating system and a new processor unit needs to be Printers, All of our present Deripheral devices, i.e. terminals, p are compatible with the new processor. The Police Department's use of the pres=nt computer system presents obstacles to the computer system upgrade. The Police Department uses a police records managementsystem called Enfors which was developed by a Twin Cities firm, MaSys p MaSys Corporation does not have any plans to convert their software to te em in Department ishalsore.
