'qt" I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2422 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br />WORKSHEET FOR THE SYSCO DEVELOPMENT <br />19Hf:QEAS, an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) was <br />prepared to assess the environmental effects of the SYSCO <br />development in acordance with the Environmental Reviaw Program <br />Rules, Chapter 4410.4300; and <br />WHEREAS, the EAW was received and authorized for submittal <br />to the Environmental Quality Board (EQP) on October 10, 1968; and <br />WHEREAS, the cowmen" ,eriod on the ZAW ended November 30, <br />15I68; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has received letters commenting on the <br />EAW from the following: <br />.-y MN Department of Transportation dated November 14, 1988 <br />l,. t;N Pollution Control Agency dated November 18, 1988 <br />Metropolitan Council dated November 29, 1988; and <br />WHEREAS, tree City of Mounds View, as the designated <br />Responsible Government Unit (RGU), shall make a decision by <br />December 30, 1988 whether an Environmental Impart Statement (EIS) <br />is needed for the SYSCO development; and <br />W:IEREAS, the RGU has found that the impact of the SYSCO <br />development will have minimal environmental effects; and <br />WHEREAS, the RGU has found that the SYSCO development is <br />the only development anticipated in the area; and <br />WHEREAS, the RGU has found that the City of Mounds View <br />and the Army Corps of Engineers have required mitigation of the <br />effects of the development upon adjacent wetlands; and <br />WHEREAS, the RGU has found that a traffic signal may be <br />placed at the intersection of Xylite and County Road J to <br />mitigate the potential traffic impacts of the SYSCO development; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the RGU has found that the mitigation measures <br />imposed on the developer will minimize the anticipated <br />environmental effects. <br />
