Motion/Second: Hankner/Blanchard to reschedule the Wetland Alteration Permit, Wetland I-24 public hearing to November 14 at 7:05 PM, and schedule a public hearing for the PUD Concept Plan at 7:10 PM on November 14. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Phillip Seipp, president of SYSCO/Continental, explained they have over 220 employees in their company, and they are very proud of their low turn- over rate, and they also attribute the success of their company to their employees. Mr. Seipp explained the site plan has evolved through (' many discussions with City Staff and input from the `w residents and the Planning Commission. He added they are willing to address all the issues presented. Scott Ki%kaid, of Ryan Construction, reviewed the site plan and the changes made zince the last presen- tation. Dick Koppie, of Westwood.. Professional Building viewed the site plan for grading, drainage, landscap- ing and —traffic flow. He explained they have been requested to align their roadway with existing Xylite Street, due to anticipated traffic flow, and that, coupled with the location of the Williams Pipeline on the property and constraints in building near that, resultsin the encroachment on the wetland. He added they are working with the Rice Creek Watershed District, Department of Natural Resources, Army Corps of Engineers, and City of Mounds View, in meeting the requirements of all the governing bodies. Ron Peterson, a wildlife biolog!st, reviewed the wetland mitigation package that has been developed, and he reviewed the wetland boundaries and how they were arrived at. He also presented a drawing of how the wetlands would be after development. Mr. Peterson reviewed the issues the ordinance requires to be addressed and how they had approached them.
