Item 5E <br /> RESOLUTION 10091 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING TREE DONATION FROM PROJECT ARDAN <br /> IN CELEBRATION OF ARBOR DAY 2025 <br /> WHEREAS, MN Statute 465.03 allows any city to accept donations of real property <br /> and to maintain such property for the benefit of its citizen, however, it must be done by <br /> resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has received a donation of two trees from <br /> the organization, Project Ardan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the donated trees have a monetary value of$93.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, one of the trees is an Accolade Elm which is a hybrid elm resistant to <br /> Dutch Elm Disease and the other three is an Exclamation! London Planetree, which is a <br /> hybrid cross between an American Sycamore and an Old World Sycamore; and <br /> WHEREAS, the donation was made by Project Ardan in celebration of Arbor Day <br /> 2025. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br /> gratefully acknowledges and accepts the donation from Project Ardan of two trees in <br /> celebration of Arbor Day 2025. <br /> Adopted this 14t" day of April, 2025. <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Brian Beeman, Assistant City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br />
