RESOLUTION NO. 10082 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN-KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br /> MILES AND SHANNON OCH, 2665 SHERWOOD ROAD <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br /> controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br /> Family Residential; and <br /> WHEREAS, Miles and Shannon Och have submitted an application, with an <br /> approved site plan, and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on their property <br /> located at 2665 Sherwood Road; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it meets all requirements set <br /> forth in Chapter 90.005; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br /> considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held on April 14, <br /> 2025. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br /> hereby approve a chicken-keeping license for Miles and Shannon Och, 2665 Sherwood <br /> Road, for no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked by the City Council <br /> based on negligence, nuisance, or violation of Chapter 90.005. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the license will expire December 31, 2025, and <br /> shall be renewed annually. <br /> Adopted this 14t" day of April, 2025. <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> Brian Beeman, Assistant City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br /> The Mounds View Vision <br /> A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
