Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley read the items or the <br />Proposed consent agenda, requesting that an <br />additional item be added under Item H, the payment <br />of -M 512.50 to City Attorney Meyers for legal fee--. <br />Motion/Sescond: Blanchard/Hankner to approve the <br />consent agenda, as presented, with the inclusion of <br />the payment of $6,512.50 to Attorney Meyers under <br />Item H, and waive the reading of the resolutions. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />December 27, 1988 <br />Page Two <br />Approval of <br />Consent <br />Agenda <br />Motion Carried <br />Public Works Director Minetor reported the public 7. 2nd Reading and <br />hearing on this ordinance had been held November Adoption of <br />28, with the first reading on December 12 and the Ordinance No. <br />oecond reading scheduled for this evening. He added 451 <br />there had been no changes since the public hearing. <br />Councilmember Hankner asked for a clarification of <br />the City's plowing cf cul-de-sacs, and whether the <br />process would be the same as when the County did it. <br />Public Works Director Minetor replied they are look- <br />ing at various options, and they are still short <br />of equipment and are cutting corners now to get <br />i everything done. He added they will have a better <br />plan in the future. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she had received a <br />phone call concerning the recent plowing the City <br />did in cul-de-oa..s. She added it has caused problems <br />with driveways being blocked in, in particular for <br />those with health problems. <br />Public Works Director Minetor stated the City is <br />doing a lot more plowing now than before, and he <br />hopes to have something prepared for the next agenda <br />session, and if he does not have it ready for that <br />meeting, he'll have it ready for the agenda session <br />after that. <br />Motion/Second: Wuori/Blanchard to have the second <br />reading—doption of Ordinance No. 451, adopting <br />the Snow and Ice Control Policy, and waive the <br />reading. <br />Councilmember Blanchard - aye <br />Councilmember Hankner - aye <br />Councilmember Wuori - aye <br />Mayor Linke - aye <br />Lw <br />A <br />Motion Carried <br />
