RESOLUTION NO. 2445 <br />Page Two <br />24 July 1989 <br />- Council adepts proposed Budget and <br />proposed levy for certification to <br />the County Auditor <br />01 August 1989 <br />- Citymust certify proposed levy to <br />County Auditor on or before this <br />date. <br />03 August 1989 <br />- County Auditor must notify City of <br />no increase and proposed tax rates. <br />15 August 1989 <br />- City may amend levy on or before <br />this date. <br />On or before <br />15 September 1989 <br />- If there is a percent increase in <br />local taxes the County Auditor is <br />to mail a notice of this increase <br />to each taxpayer. <br />On or before <br />15 September 1989 <br />- Advertise a "Notice of Tax <br />Increase" in a local newspaper. <br />The notice must include date and <br />time of public hearing. <br />25 September 1989 <br />- Public Hearing to adopt 1990 <br />Budget. Budget. may be amended, <br />but final <br />adopted levy may not <br />exceed original proposed levy. <br />25 October 1989 - <br />Last day to certify tax <br />levy to County Auditor. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View adopts the ab<ve Calendar for the 1989 <br />Budget process. <br />Adopted this 13th day of February, 1989. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Mayor <br />Clerk-:.dministrator <br />
