The hiring <br />process is regulated by State Law, Civil Service Rules and Police Officer <br />Standard and Training Board Requirements. <br />The Process includes; written examination, interview, psychological <br />testing. Physical examination, comprehensive personal history and <br />background investigation. <br />After the testing process, the Commission establish an eligibility list <br />and submit to the City Council the three highest ranking applicants. <br />i <br />The Mounds View Police Civil Service Commiss'o <br />submit <br />following three names of qualified applicantsforerebY City Councilthe <br />consideration. <br />STEVFN GERINGER <br />RiCK MATHWiG <br />JAY MAHER <br />RECOMMENDATION: THE MOUNDS VIEW CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION REQUEST <br />THAT THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZE THE HIRING OF STEVEN <br />GERINGER TO THE POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER STARTING <br />ON OR ABOUT MARCH 1, 1989. <br />PROBATIONARY PERIOD WILL BE ONE YEAR. <br />STARTING SALARY AND BENEFITS WiLL BE PER LOCAL.
