RESOLUTION NO. 2460 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A VEHICLE E EQUIPMENT <br />REPLACEMENT FUND <br />WHEREAS, during the 1989 Budget process Council approved <br />the concept of a vehicle and equipnenL replacement program; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Council desires to finance periodic <br />replaQement of City vehicles and equipment by annual budgetary <br />transfers to a special fund; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View <br />1. There is hereby established and created a separate and <br />special fund designated as the Vehicle & Equipment Replacement <br />Fund, which the Clerk -Administrator- and Finance <br />Director/Treasurer shall maintain on the official accounting <br />records and financial statements of the City and administer in <br />C; accordance with this resolution. <br />2. This Fund shall only be used to purchase vehicles and <br />equipment pursuant to City purchasing policy. <br />3. There shall be deposited in the Fund such monies as may be <br />directed by Council. These may include budgetary <br />appropriations, interfund transfers and proceeds from the <br />issuance of Equipment Debt Certificates or Capital Notes. <br />Adopted this 13th day of March, 1989. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />t <br />Mayor <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
