Mayor Hankner stated she would like to reaffirm the appointments. She explained those names were given to the Council by the Judge, and they were the only 8 the Council was aware of. Notion/Second: Hankner/Quick of reaffirmation of the appointments to the Mounds View Charter Commission: Leonard Burgers, Stanley Haugen, James Kavanaugh, Jerome L`_nke, John Olson, Edward 'rettel, Darel Turner and Joseph Witzmann, with all terms expiring 11/92, and to send this to the Judge. 9 ayes 0 nays Attorney Karney reported the Commissioners on the Robert Waste condemnation case had determined an award of $1v9,000 for the property, whereas Mr. Waste had asked $199,000 and the appraisers hired by Mounds View had determined the value to be $99,900. He explained Mr. Waste will have 30 days to appeal once it is certified and filed. Public Works Director Minetor reported there had been a water main break on March 11 at the inter- section of Ridge Lane and Irondale Road. In the process of repairing it, a 2" gas main was severed. Mr. Minetor stated it was the error of NSP, for showing an incorrect location, and rater and gas service were both restored or. March 12, at the completion of the work. Public Works Director Minetor reported there would be a seminar on storm water utilities at the Vadnais Heights City Hall on March 22, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM, with all City employees invited.
