Roll Call <br />E anT cnarT-a--n-J-ffayor Hankner. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City httorney Karney, Clcrk/Admini- <br />strator Pauley and Public Works Director Minetor. <br />Motion/Second: Wjori/Quick to approve the March 13, 4. <br />Approval of <br />1W9 minutes as presented. <br />Minutes: <br />March 13, 1989 <br />4 ayes nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road, advised the Council 5. <br />Residents <br />the City is beginning to again experience the summer <br />Requests and <br />time noise at the airport, and he reviewed the history <br />Comments from <br />of the situation. He also read a portion of the <br />the Floor <br />Mayor's Message of September/0ctobe:• 1983. He <br />stated the Anoka County Airport is now listed as a <br />reliever airport, which he has worked very hard against. <br />He stated he voted against the capital inpro-rement <br />plan for the airport, and while he does not feel there <br />is anything the Council can do, he would suggest they <br />Lake a Oir vi.y stand at thi- time_ <br />Mr. McCarty also noted David Kelso is leaving the MPCA <br />for another division, which will be a loss. He: added <br />that he was speaking as a resident. <br />Mr. McCarty requested copies of the letters received <br />in response to the last Mayor's Message, asking for <br />letters from the residents concerning their support <br />for the library. <br />Mayor Hankner clarified that she had not asked for <br />letters in support of the library but rather feedback <br />of any type. She stated it was the Council's original <br />t idea to present it to the Ramsey County Board formally, <br />
