MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY CO 1L FROM: CLERK-ADMINISTRAT `C:a!? •'•� DATE: APRIL 13, 1989 SUBJECT: MOUNDS VIEW BUSINESS PARK SOUTH PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND WETLAND ALTEkATION PERMIT APPLICATION The City received the Planned Unit Development and Wetland Alteration Permit applications for Mounds View Business Park South on Wednesday, April 12th. Staff has not had the opportunity to review these documents in detail and provide any evaluation of them, however, the documents have been referred to Barr Engineering for their review and comment on the wetland alteration permit application. The Planning CoRw,ission will be reviewing these documents in their Agenda Session on Wednesday, April 18th, however, 1 felt that due to the success of the review proness followed in the SYSCO Project that you might wish to have a presenta- tion on this proposal at your April 17th Agenda Session. At that time the Developer, Everest Development Ltd., will be present to review the Development Proposal anu the datails M, of the Wetland Alteration Permit application. would hope that the City Council could then advise staff as to the " procedures you wished to have followed for review of the Wetland Alteration Permit by both the Environmental Quality Task Fcrce and the general public. As you may recall, with the SYSCO Project you held an informational meeting early -on in the project for public review and comment. Should you wish to have that be the case with this project, I would ask that you provide me with direction as to when you wish that informational meeting to be scheduled. As with all other Development Proposals, copies of the proposal are being submitted to the City Engineer, City Forester, Police Chief, and Fire Chief for their review and comment. I anticipate that that information will be available for you within approximately two weeks. DFP/MJS
