Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />Alice Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road, invited all the <br />residents present to come back each 2nd and 9th Monday <br />of the month, to attend the Council meetings and be <br />informed. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley added the meetings are cable <br />cast and the agenda is broadcast from the Friday pre- <br />ceding the meeting. He also explained public notices <br />are listed according to State law, and they list the <br />street address whenever there is one. <br />Mayor Hankner closed the public hearing at 9:59 PM, <br />and the Council recessed for a short break. <br />June 12, 1989 <br />Page Thirteen <br />The Council reconvened at 10:09 PM, and Mayor Hankner <br />10. closed the regular meeting and opened the next public <br />hearing. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed tfle process Staff <br />followed in preparation for the public hearings on the <br />liquor license renewals in the City. Each application <br />was required to be accompanied by a certificate of <br />insurance, inspections were done of on -sale establish- <br />ments for fire and 'health cede compliance, a determina- <br />r,tion was made if any were in arrears on property taxes, <br />assessments or utility bills, the Police activity <br />report was reviewed, and inspections were ccnducted of <br />all on -sale licensees authorized for Sunday sales to <br />confirm compliance with City code. <br />Clerk/administrator Pauley reported Robert's Off 1.0 <br />is in arrears on the payment of utility billings in the <br />amount of $871.76, as of June 6, and a certificate of <br />insurance was not orovided. A Sunday inspection has <br />not been done as they were closed the past Sunday, but <br />it has been reported they are not ;ti compliance with <br />the Sunday food safes requirements. Another problem <br />exists in that Mr. Waste also has an interest in Loose <br />Ends on 10, and it is prohibited for any individual <br />to have an interest in more than one liquor establish- <br />ment in the City. Mr. Waste has encountered this pro- <br />blem before and has been reminded again and advised to <br />resolve the matter. <br />Attorney Barney advised the City stay with the ordi- <br />nance and convey that message to Mr. Waste. <br />Mayor Hankner closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 10:14 PM. <br />w <br />Public Hearing: <br />Renewal of <br />Liquor License <br />for Robert's <br />Off 10 <br />
