MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: CLERK -ADMINISTRATOR <br />DATE: MAY 23, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: COMPOSTING <br />As you may recall, you recently directed City Staff to <br />prepare an amendment to Chapter 104 of the Municipal Code <br />entitled, "Garbage and Rubbish" to allow for composting by <br />property owners in the City of Mounds View. Attached please <br />find a copy of Ordinance No. 468 which amends Chapter 104 by <br />adding a definition for compost and allowing composting <br />under certain conditions by property owners in the City. <br />Your review and direction on this matter would be <br />appreciated. <br />DFP/MJS <br />j <br />
