He explained Department Head Report - what public works is and the work they do. He also Public Works gave a slide presentation, showing the public works crew at work, and reviewed upcoming projects for the department. Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained the Council had 15. Consideration previously authorized the purchase of two flagpoles, of Resolution and the proposed resolution addresses responsibility No. 2487 for maintenance of the flagpoles. Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve Resolu- tion—` No. 2487, assigning responsibility for mainte- nance of City Hall flagpoles. 5 ayes 0 nays Mayor Hankner read Resolutior No. 2487. Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained that as a result of the training sessions held last fall for City Staff, the Customer Relations Task Force was formed. They have been meeting since then and have proposed eight G-changes to be made, seven of which are procedural and one which is structural. He added the proposed resolution adopts the seven procedural recommenda- tions, and directs that a cost analysis be done of suggestion number eight. Mayor Hankner explained what some of the proposed changes are. Motion/Second: Wuori/blanchard to approve Reso- lut on No. 2488, accepting recommendations of the Customer Relations Task Force and commending the members, and waive the reading. 5 ayes 0 nays Attorney Kerney had no report.
