Mrunds view City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />May 22, 1989 <br />Page Five <br />Public Works Director Minetor reported <br />the week of <br />14. First Quarter <br />May <br />21 is National Public Works Week. <br />He explained <br />Department <br />Head Report - <br />what <br />public works is and the work they <br />do. He also <br />Public Works <br />gave <br />a slide presentation, showing the <br />public works <br />crew <br />at work, and reviewed upcoming projects for <br />the <br />department. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained the Council had 15. Consideration <br />previously authorized the purchase of two flagpoles, of Resolution <br />and the proposed resolution addresses responsibility No. 2487 <br />for maintenance of the flagpoles. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve Resolu- <br />tion—` No. 2487, assigning responsibility for mainte- <br />nance of City Hall flagpoles. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Hankner read Resolutior No. 2487. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained that as a result <br />of the training sessions held last fall for City Staff, <br />the Customer Relations Task Force was formed. They <br />have been meeting since then and have proposed eight <br />G-changes to be made, seven of which are procedural and <br />one which is structural. He added the proposed <br />resolution adopts the seven procedural recommenda- <br />tions, and directs that a cost analysis be done <br />of suggestion number eight. <br />Mayor Hankner explained what some of the proposed <br />changes are. <br />Motion/Second: Wuori/blanchard to approve Reso- <br />lut on No. 2488, accepting recommendations of the <br />Customer Relations Task Force and commending the <br />members, and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Attorney Kerney had no report. <br />Motion Carried <br />16. Consideration <br />of Resolution <br />No. 2488 <br />Motion Carried <br />17. Report of <br />Attorney <br />Public Works Director Minetor explained the developer 18. Report of <br />of 8141 Red Oak Court has requested to be allowed to Staff Members <br />encroach into the drainage easement on the lot, as <br />the house to be constructed will not fit within the <br />building ,ad area without encroaching into the <br />easement. <br />
