RESOLUTION NO. 2492 <br />�y CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />i s COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A WETLAND ALTERATION PERMIT FOR <br />EVEREST DEVELOPMENT, MOUNDS VIEW BUSINESS PARK SOUTH <br />t has requested <br />WHEREAS, the Develope-, Everest Developmen, <br />rainwork <br />approval of a wetland alteration Prosalmittfora <br />MoundstViewdBusiness <br />associated with the development pro <br />p <br />Park South; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, Planning Commissio.^., City Staff, <br />En ineering Consultant have reviewed this <br />and the City s g <br />development request; and <br />WHEREAS, this ucwelo^I--- <br />of Chapters 48 and 49A because <br />zoning district; and <br />WHEPLAS, Chapter 48.05, <br />land proposed to be subdivided <br />district to have the following: <br />must conform to the requirements <br />this development is in a wetland <br />Subd. 5 A, B and C requires all <br />and lying within a wetland zoning <br />r <br />� A. Minimum lot size - 20,000 square feet <br />B. Minimum lot width - 125 feet as measured at the <br />building setback line <br />C. All structures shall be setback at least 100 feet <br />from the wetland; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has seen fit to develop these <br />requirements to regulate the wetland because the Council has <br />found the following: <br />Chapter 48.01, Subd. 2 <br />The Council finds that wetlands within the City, as part <br />of the ecosystem, are critical to the present and future <br />health, safety and general welfare of the land, animals, <br />and people within the City, as well as within <br />potthe <br />Rice <br />Creek Watershed District; that existing <br />ial <br />devel.opment within the City and Rice Creek Waters problems <br />District poses increasing ecological <br />and economic <br />despoiling, <br />and demands, having the effect of potentieliminally <br />es <br />or <br />polluting, accelerating the aging, <br />negatively and irretrievably altering both the wetlands <br />and their functions (and the processes associated <br />c^nserved and maintained, constitute <br />therewith) which, rf <br />rmpertant phvsical, educational, ecological, ae5thatre, <br />ts <br />or <br />recreational Landae economicommunity andethefRice�Creek9Watershedand re <br />District; and <br />
