PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />1 r� D Regular Meeting <br />F, n^� 5 April 24, 1989 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Hankner at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 24, 1989. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS - FAESENT: Councilmembers Quick, Blanchard, <br />ii i:vri, �Gi7nCiiu�a u`ucr-ui2Ct i'C:vnG and Mayor iiani:rer <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Karney and Clerk/ <br />Admin� isT trator Pauley. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve the April <br />10, 1989 regular meeting minutes, and April 11, 1989 <br />canvassing board meeting minutes as presented. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Clark/Administrator Pauley administered the oath of <br />office to Councilmember-Elect John Paone, Sr., and <br />the Council welcomed him. <br />Lois Hoel, 2950 Valley View Lane, New Brighton, stated <br />that while she did not live in Mounds Viewr sne does <br />participate in the water exercise program offered at <br />the Community Center. She stated the program is not <br />planned for the summer and she has spoken to Park <br />Director Saarion to no avail. She added she has a <br />list of. 35-40 names of people who currently participate <br />in the program and want to continue doing so during the <br />summer. She als,stated they are willing to change the <br />time of their class, if necessary.. The program is <br />currently offered daily from 9:00-9:45 AM, during the <br />fall, winter and spring, but Mrs. Hoel was told by <br />Park Director Saarion that the pool at the Community <br />CenL•er is needed for the childrens swimming programs <br />® during the sw,mmer. <br />1.
