THE CITY OF <br />MOUNDS SEW <br />Office of the Mayor <br />• PROCLAMATION <br />.REAS, public works services provided in our community are an integral <br />WH <br />part of our citizens' everyday lives; and <br />WHEFEAS, the r'PP°rt of an urderstaiding and informed citizenry is vital to <br />the efficient operation of public works systems and programs such as war> sewers, <br />er, <br />streets and highways, public buildings, solid waste collection, and snow removal; and <br />WHEREAS, the healthy safety, c°mforc of L',is community greatly depends on <br />these facilities and services; a.'d <br />the quab'ty and effectiveness of these facilities, as well as Their <br />REAS, <br />ingdesign, and cot <br />, tstnuction,s vitally dependent upon the effort Es and skill of <br />plann <br />public works officials; and <br />WHEREAS, the efficiency of the qualified and dedicated personnel who staff <br />public works departotents is materially influenced by the people's attitude and <br />understanding of the importance of the work they Perform, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Susan M..
