RESOLUTION NO. 10082 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />MILES AND SHANNON OCH, 2665 SHERWOOD ROAD <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br />controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br />Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Miles and Shannon Och have submitted an application, with an <br />approved site plan, and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on their property <br />located at 2665 Sherwood Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it meets all requirements set <br />forth in Chapter 90.005; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held on April 14, <br />2025. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a chicken -keeping license for Miles and Shannon Och, 2665 Sherwood <br />Road, for no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked by the City Council <br />based on negligence, nuisance, or violation of Chapter 90.005. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the license will expire December 31, 2025, and <br />shall be renewed annually. <br />Adopted this 14th day of April, 2025. <br />Attest: <br />(SEAL) <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br />strom, Mayor <br />r <br />Br' n Bee n, Assistant City Administrator <br />
