RESOLUTION NO. 10085 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ELIMINATE PUBLIC WORKS PART-TIME OFFICE <br />ASSISTANT POSITION AND TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT AND SEPARATION <br />COMPENSATION TO LISA LIAN <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 9528 on February 14, 2022, which <br />approved the addition of a Part -Time Office Assistant within the Public Works Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the Part -Time Office Assistant position was filled by Lisa Lian on July 5, 2022; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, effective April 11, 2025, the position of Part -Time Office Assistant has been <br />eliminated and Ms. Lian's position has been terminated; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Personnel Manual, Ms. Lian's balance of accrued and <br />unused vacation is estimated at 12.31 hours; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Personnel Manual, Ms. Lian's balance of accrued and <br />unused sick leave is estimated at 18.50 hours; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Lian's rate of pay upon resignation is $24.08 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves: <br />Elimination of the Public Works Part -Time Office Assistant Position, <br />Termination of employment of Lisa Lian effective April 11, 2025, <br />Estimated separation compensation to Part -Time Office Assistant Lisa Lian consistent <br />with the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: <br />Hours <br />Hourly rate <br />Payout <br />Vacation Hours <br />12.31 <br />$24.08 <br />$296.42 Cash Payout <br />Sick Leave <br />18.50 = 50%=9.25 <br />9.25 <br />$24.08 <br />$222.74 Cash Payout <br />Estimated Total Separation Compensation: <br />$519.16 <br />Adopted this 141h day of April, 2025. <br />Za fnidistr6m, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Brian Beema , Assistant City Administrator <br />(Seal) <br />
