As <br />a Senior Coordinator with concerns for their interests, I feel it would be <br />very beneficial to this group in particular to ?iave the modem facilities <br />available to them. Our Seniors have expressed the desire to plan annual <br />picnics for their senior clubs outside our City at such parks as Locke Park <br />in Fridley, and to pay to reserve these spots in order to meet their desires <br />for water and toilet facilities for their comfort and convenience, as well as <br />electricity for coffee pots and hot dishes for their potlucks. <br />The Senior Citizen age group is a fast growing segment of our population <br />and their leisure needs will become increasingly important in the near <br />future. <br />JS/SL <br />
