She suggested a Council member should attend <br />the Lions Club meeting and discuss the issue with <br />them. <br />COuncilmemLer Paone and the representative of the Lions <br />Club disagreed on whether the $75,000 dedication was <br />for a picnic shelter excl-isively or for other equip- <br />ment also. <br />Mike Delmarc, 7413 Parkview Drive, asked who is <br />liable for construction once the $75,000 is received. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained they can give <br />$75,000 as a cash gift or build the structure and <br />give it to the City. <br />Mr. Radecmacher stated he feels the Lions Club will <br />be setting public policy by giving this size gift, <br />and they should look at how this fits into the overall <br />plan. He added he would like to meet with the Lions <br />Club to discuss concerns first hand. <br />Mr. Jones added he would like to see a public meeting <br />of the Lions Club with the City Council. <br />Mayor Hankner agreed and stated a time would be set, <br />and she directed Ms. Saarion to coordinate schedules <br />and get a meeting arranged.
