PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVED <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />July 100 1989 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwv. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Hankner at 7:04 PM on Monday, July 10, 1989. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was Said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Paone, Quick, <br />Blanchard, Wuori and Mayor Hankner. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Karney, Clerk/Admini- <br />strator Pauley, Public Works Director Minetor and <br />City Planner Bran. <br />Motion/Second: Paone/Quori to approve the Jun:: 26, <br />1989 mrnutes as corrected. <br />�n <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Hankner closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the first public hearing at 7:08 PM. <br />City Planner Hren reviewed the history of the pro- <br />perty in questions explaining the rezoning did not <br />occur as intended several years ago as it was done <br />by resolution, not ordinance, as is required. This <br />proposed action will rectify the city's records and <br />make the area match up to the zoning map. Staff <br />would recommend this property be rezoned to the <br />appropriate use. <br />Paul Mielke, 516 Brighton Lane, asked why this was <br />necessary. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained the ordinances <br />were never prepared and adopted, as was directed by <br />the Council at that time. <br />Carol Golden, 7417 Parkview Drive, asked why the <br />L property was zoned that way in the first place. <br />1.
