Mounds View City Council September 25, 1989 <br />Regular Meeting Page Ten <br />Councilmember Paone left the meeting at 9:28 PM. • <br />Mayor Hankner suggested the Council could call to <br />order if necessary at the October 16 agenda session, <br />to take action on the bids received. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/quick to set the October 16 <br />agenda session as a regular meeting for the purpose <br />of taking action on bids fcr the Silver View Park <br />picnic shelter. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Councilmember Quick requested Staff provide infor- <br />28. Report of <br />nation on possible sites and costs for a fire <br />Councilmembers: <br />hydrant and drinking fountains for Silver View <br />Councilmember <br />Park, at the next agenda session. <br />Quick <br />Councilmember Paone rejoined the meeting at 9:32 PM. <br />Councilmember Quick asked that the sign ordinance <br />be placed on the agenda for review at the next <br />agenda session. <br />Councilmember Blanchard reported she had represen- <br />Councilmembee <br />ted the City at the dedication of the newly <br />Blanchard <br />remodeled Fire Station No. 3 in Blaine on September <br />24, and it is very nice. <br />Councilmember Paone had no report. <br />Councilmember <br />Paone <br />Councilmember Wuori reported she had helped at the <br />Councilmember <br />household hazardous waste collection day in New <br />Wuori <br />Brighton on September 23, and it was very <br />successful. <br />Mayor Hankner suggested the Council set a time to Mayor Hankner <br />discuss the budget, as the Legislature is most <br />likely going to call to order this Wednesday. The <br />public hearing is scheduled for October 9, and the <br />law requires the budget be adopted at the same time. <br />It was agreed to meet on October 2, at 7:30 PM, prior <br />to the start of the regular agenda session. <br />Mayor Hankner reported she had received a phone call <br />concerning the safety of the decks at Landmark <br />Estates. <br />Attorney Karney reviewed the history of the problem <br />with the decks and pending litigation the City is <br />involved in now. <br />
