to <br />E <br />MEMO TO: MAYOR AND COUNCIL y/,/-. ;': , ,z <br />FROM: MARY SAARION, DIRECTOR <br />PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br />DATE: OCrOBER 3, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR EASEMENT AGREEMENT <br />At the September 28, 1989 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting, the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission directed staff to request that Council consider beginning the <br />process for the development of an easement agreement with Gaughan Companies <br />regarding a pathway continuation on their land abutting Silver View Park pond. The <br />Commission expressed a concern for urgency since Gaughan Companies have expressed <br />a receptiveness to an easement agreement. The Commission felt that even with an <br />agreement, action could be delayed or postponed. It was the Commission's thought <br />that it would be to the City's benefit to be prepared for future action. <br />Staff wishes to discuss this request with the Council regarding the easement <br />agreement. <br />MS/SL <br />
