MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />9 FROM: City Planner Hren <br />DATE: October 12, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: AMOCO CAR WASH, 2155 HIGHWAY AVENUE <br />PLANNING CASE NO. 241-88 <br />In September of 1988, Amoco was granted a conditional use permit <br />to add a car wash to their site at 2155 Highway Avenue. That <br />permit e.coired on September 26, 1989. Amoco Oil Company has now <br />reapplied for that conditional use permit. Amoco Oil Company has <br />submitted the same plans that were once approved by the City. <br />Please find enclosed a staff memorandum to the Planning <br />Commission regarding the issuance of a new conditional use permit <br />at this time. Because the site conditions have not changed, the <br />planning reports that were done in 1988 are still applicable. <br />Staff is looking for direction at this time as to the appropriate <br />resolution to prepare for this request. <br />MMH/BAC <br />Enclosure <br />
