Company <br />Founds view. . <br />PROPOSED REQUEST: Applicant requests to install a automatic <br />car wash, and therefore, requires a conditional use permit. <br />LOCATION OF REQUEST: 2155 Highway Avenue <br />Attached is a site plan which illustrates the applicant's request <br />to install a car wash system on -site. The proposed car wash <br />appears to be in conformance with the City Code in terms of <br />setback, parking, etc. The City Engineer has reviewed the <br />drawing and feels that there is not a traffic problem nor a <br />stacking problem. The City has not been informed by the Amoco <br />Company regarding the number of vehicles that can be washed <br />within a thirty -minute period. This information would be needed <br />per the Code which requires specific stacking space. <br />The resolution approved by the City Council for the Amoco station <br />on Highway, 10 is included for your information. The conditions <br />Placed upon it, in general, are for the gas station; although <br />there are some conditions that are specifically for the car <br />wash. These may items that you would wish to include in the <br />resolution if approving this car wash. <br />Staff awaits direction on this issue. <br />
