Reports of /� Councilmembt J: Councilmember Blanchard Councilmember Peons reported he had received a letter Councilmember concerning a proposed change to the date of the Paone Festival in the Park, in moving it back to July, due to attendance problems. Mayor Hankner stated all Council asembers had received the same letter, and it is a valid concern. She added a lot is based on when they can get the Portable stage from Ramsey County. Mr. Pauley stated he would be bringing something to the Council at their next agenda session regarding concerns by the fireworks company about safety. Councilmember Wuori had no report. Councilmember Wuori Councilmember Quick had no report. Councilmember Quick Mayor Hankner reported she had attended the Fire Mayor Hankner Department open house on Sunday, and the Council needs to keep in mind their capital needs as they budget next year. Mayor He 'cner stated with the school district closing _ne community centers, they need to look at other possibilities. Motion Second: Hankner/Paone to direct staff to gather information aTouf-possi5le ideas of locating a location for the community center in Mounds View and report back to the Council. Motion Carried Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the three City Administrators have been meeting with the Fire Chief concerning the capital improvement program and plan. A substantial increase is planned for the 1990 budget in all three cities. The Fire Department would like to conduct another tour of the stations and the site of a new station, on Saturday, October 28 at 9 AM. Mr. Pauley reported Attorney Meyers has requested a special meetng with the Council to review the proposed revisions to the wetland ordinance. 25. Report of Clerk/ Administrator
