(� MEMO TO: MAYOR AND COUNCIL <br />FROM: MARY SAARION, DIRECTOR iA y <br />PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br />DATE: OCTOBER 24, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: COST FOR PADDING HILLVIEW LIGHT POLE <br />As requested by Council, staff has looked into the cost of padding the <br />light pole which will be located within the skating boundary of the <br />pleasure rink if the rink is expanded as proposed. Several pads are <br />available at similar prices. <br />The pad that staff recommends is from Flaghouse, a wholesale supplier of <br />recreation supplies. This pad is 6 feet tall and has a 2 inch foam filler. It <br />is secured by nylon cord. The cost is $32.25 plus shipping and handling. <br />MS/SL <br />W" <br />
