APPROVED <br />® PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />November 27, 1989 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by 1, Call to <br />Mayor Hankner at 7i08 PM on Monday, November 27, 1989. Order <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. 2. Pledge of <br />Allegiance <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Paone, Wuori, Quick 3. Roll Call <br />and Mayor Hankner. <br />It was noted Councilmember Blanchard was absent. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Karney, Clerk/Admini- <br />strator Pauley, Public Works Director Minetor and <br />City Planner Hren. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Paone to approve the November q, Approval of <br />13, 1989 minutes as corrected. Minutes: <br />4 ayes 0 nays November 13, <br />Motion Carried <br />Mayor Hankner read the letters of commendation to 5. Special Order <br />Public Works Foreman Mike Ulrich and Maintenance of Business <br />worker Gary Kardell, and presented the letters to <br />them, thanking them for the work they do on behalf <br />of the City. <br />Police Chief Ramacher reviewed crime statistics for <br />the first nine months of 1989 versus 1988, which <br />indicate that crime is up. He reviewed the activities <br />of the police department. In addition to making <br />arrests, 70% of their time is spent in public service. <br />Public Works Director Minetor reviewed the activities <br />of the buildings, streets, garage, water and sewer <br />departments for the third quarter. <br />Park and Rec Director Saarion presented a video, <br />�_j giving an overview of the park and rec department <br />and their activities for 1989. <br />
