Consideration <br />Council concerning the street light request for 8419 of Staff Memo <br />Spring Lake Road. He also reviewed the criteria of Regarding <br />the street light policy and stated the area is well Streetlight <br />lit, and stated he did not feel an additional street Petition, <br />light should be installed. He did note, however, 8419 Spring <br />that the petitioner has had a high incidence of crime. Lake Road <br />Councilmemner Paone recommended watching the area for <br />a while. He noted also that many of the residents had <br />signed the petition. <br />Mayor Hankner stated she would be interested in know- <br />ing what the crime was. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported that history <br />has shown that lights do not deter crime. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Paone to table action on this <br />until the next regular meeting on December 11, 1989. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />17.1 <br />
