Mounds View City Council August 10, 1987 <br />Regular Meeting y1,�g� n p'q Page Seven <br />VED---- ---- - ------------- 1�1r ��0-------------- <br />t Mayor Links reported he had attendod the Mounds View Mayor Links <br />Community Theater production of "blame" and found it <br />to be an excellent production. <br />Mayor Links reported the Ramsey County Youth <br />their <br />Corrections Department has cut funding from <br />proposed budget for 1988 for the Firth Suburban Youtn <br />Service Bureau, whicH is an organization that handles <br />troubled youth in the community, as well as assists <br />e feels this is a very worth - <br />other youth. He.atated h <br />while program and he would like the residents to send <br />letters and make phone calls to Ramsey County Commissioner <br />Duane McCarty, voicing their support for the program. <br />Chief Ramacher reported they have sent a number of <br />offenders to the Youth Service Bureau, and he feels it <br />is a very worthwhile program, and he would hate to <br />los: it. <br />Y <br />Councilmember Rankner pointed out that while the <br />Corrections Bureau has removed funding from their <br />budget, the Ramsey County Commissioners must approve <br />it back n. <br />•' the budget and could put i <br />Chief Ramacher had no report. 16.
