GENERAL (Cont.) <br />6. MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT (cont.) <br />h + The equipment to be furnished under this specification <br />shall be essentially the standard product of the <br />manufacturer. All equipment shall be of the best quality <br />nonmally used for the purpose in good commercial practice "*• <br />and shall be the products or reputable manufacturer's. 3H <br />Each major component of equipment shall have the <br />manufacturer's name, address and serial number securely <br />affixed in a conspicuous place. The name plate of a <br />distributing agent only will not be acceptable. The <br />-equipment shall be designed and built in a strict <br />accordance with the applicable sp2cifirations, codes and <br />regulations. <br />7. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver FOB City <br />of Mounds View one damp truckand plowing equipment as <br />proposed and agreed to in the Proposal Form and meeting <br />the requirements herein specified. <br />8. The unit shall be new and of the latest design. <br />9. Acceptance is subject to inspection and approval of the <br />unit when delivered. Delivery shall be as soon as <br />possible but no later than 90 days after bid approval. <br />unless otherwise agreed. <br />10. One set of parts books, shop manuals, and assembly line <br />order sheets are to he provided by the successful bidder. <br />11. City reserves the right to award with or without trade or <br />some, al. or none of the listed trade options or <br />alternates. <br />12. Service and Warranty <br />A. Service. The vendor shall furnish a standard w <br />Manufacturer's Service Policy and shall pay any costs <br />of inspection and adjustment that may be necessary, y <br />as provided by said Service Policy, if the work be L? <br />done by any regulat authorized manufacturer's dealer <br />in Minnesota. Such costs shall be paid by the <br />vendor's directly to such authorized dealer. <br />Vendor and :manufacturer also agrees to furnish, at <br />the City of Mounds View, without cost to the City, <br />all parts replacement costs, part and assemblies <br />which fail in normal service during the warranty <br />period below as stipulated in the Proposal. <br />Replacement of defective parts and assemblies shall <br />be made immediately and any delay shall not be <br />considered as part of warranty period. <br />B.
