Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />August 10, 1987 <br />Page Seven <br />Al Mayor Links reported he had attend6d the Mounds View Mayor Links <br />Community Theater production of "blame" and found it <br />to be an excellent production. <br />Mayor Links reported the Ramsey County Youth <br />Corrections Dgpartment has cut funding from their <br />proposed budget for 198s for the North Suburban Youth <br />Service Bureau, which is an organization that handles <br />troubled youth in the community, as well as assists <br />other youth. He stated he feels this is a very worth- <br />while program and he would like the residents to send <br />letters and make phone calls to Ramsey County Commissioner <br />Duane McCarty, voicing their support for the program. <br />Chief Ramacher reported they have sent a number of <br />offenders to the Youth Service Bureau, and he feels it <br />is a very worthwhile program, and he would hate to <br />lose it. <br />Counci.lmember Hankner pointed out that while the <br />Corrections Bureau has removed funding from their <br />budget, the Ramsey County Commissioners must approve <br />the budget and could put it back in. <br />Chief Ramacher .iad no report. <br />Mayor Links adjourned thi meeting at 8:07 PM. <br />1, <br />16.
