n <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE C2T A �CLv �l"� <br />CITY OF MOUNDP VIE I �' r <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA( RegulNU,n9- <br />August 24, 1987'` <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View,'nN 55112 <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Linke at 7:02 PM on Monday, August 24, 1987. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: CourcUmembers Blanchard, Wuori, <br />Quick, Hankner and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers and Clerk/ <br />Adninistrator Pauley. <br />Motion/Secc:nd: Hankner/Quick to approve the August 10, <br />1987 minutes as presented. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Alice Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road, asked for an update <br />on the airport construction, pipeline and cars for sale <br />being parked on Long Lake Road. <br />Mayor Linke replied the pipeline is berg lowered in <br />front of Irondale High School, as construction is <br />beginning on Long Lake Road, and he believes they will <br />be putting in a new pipeline. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported on the progress of <br />the extension of the north/south runway and removal of <br />the exieting runway. He stated the paved surface is to <br />be done yet this year. He adeed that activity on the <br />south end of the airport is due to construction of <br />Highway 610. <br />Mrs. Frits complained about an individual who was park- <br />ing cars with for sale signs along the boulevard on <br />Long Lake Road, about 3 houses to the south of her. <br />She stated she understands he has been ticketed by the <br />Police, but he continues to park vehicles there. <br />Mayor Linke replied he would cheek with the Police <br />Department and get back to her. <br />1.
