The LMC <br />Board of Directors listed this project as a priority at their retreat <br />last fall. <br />Attached is a Mayors Exchange interest shact. Please indicate your <br />community's interest in participating in lLa program. If there is a <br />certain city you would like to pair with, please let us know. Also, <br />you may wish to point out what types of projects, problems, <br />programs, and activities you would he interested in shriving to <br />officials from other cities. The exchange of rdayom could take <br />plat: for one day Juring Cities Week or a! another time <br />convenient to both cities. <br />Please return the interest sheet to Jean Meble, League of <br />Minnesota Cities, 183 University Ave. E., St. Paul, MN 55101, by <br />Febreary15,1988. <br />The Cities Week Subcommittee members will draw names for <br />pairing cities in late Pcbruary, unless two cities agree on the <br />pairing prior to the drawing. You may choose to pair with a city <br />of similar size, from an area close to your city, or one that is <br />very different irom your city. <br />The Mayors Exchange Program is an ideal vehicle for everyone to <br />participate sad show the pride they have in their community. If <br />you have any questions, please call the League office at <br />612/227.5600. <br />We look forward to your participation in this first Mayors <br />Exchange Program and hope it will become an annual event. <br />
