Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting -__ <br />APPfiOVED <br />Octol+er 25, 1987 <br />Page Two <br />------------ <br />Mayor Links closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the first public heari.nq at 7:05 PM. <br />City Planner Herman presented overhead projections, <br />showing the location of the property in the City, <br />as well as the location of the proposed accessory <br />building on the lot. She stated a letter had been <br />or who could not attend the <br />received from a neighb <br />lso stated that the Planning <br />public hearing. She a <br />Commission has reviewed the request and recommends <br />approval. <br />Linda Debruin, 8130 Edgewood, states she is a neighbor <br />of Mr. DeGross, and would like more information. <br />City Planner Herman explained Mr. DeCross has requested <br />a conditional use permit for a 20' x 20, accessory <br />building, which would be used tostoreboats, added <br />mower and various Lion s Club equipment <br />that a materials listsnotrequired for the building <br />submitted <br />until the time of application <br />permit, but City Code calls for it to be similar to <br />the main structure. She added <br />thebneighbor <br />who <br />thad <br />submitted comments in writing had <br />the building because of it's size. <br />Mayor Linke noted that Mr. DeGross was not present. <br />He reviewed the terms set forth in the proposed <br />resolution granting a conditional use permit, and he <br />also noted that the appearance of the building would be <br />required to be in conformance with the main structure. <br />Mrs. Debruin stated she was opposed to the garage, as <br />she is unhappy with the appearance of Mr. DeGrOss's <br />lot now, as it is very messy and she was afraid that <br />with another garage, he would continue to pile things <br />against the four walls, as he does with his existing <br />garage. <br />Petty Wilson, 8140 Edgewood Drive, asked for a <br />clarification of the location on the lot for the <br />proposed garage. <br />City Planner Herman reviewed again where the building <br />would be placed. <br />Mayor. Links closed the public hearing and reope-ed <br />the regular meeting at 7:14 PAS. <br />Mayor Links closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the second public hearing at 7:14 PM. <br />7.
