Mounds View City Council pp FC, r� F.t" r <br />( November 9, 1987 <br />Regular Meeting I; Page Five <br />- 11, <br />-----------------------� -------------------- <br />G <br />(4lerk/Administrator Pauley asked Council approval <br />ror the replacement of Well $1 pump and motor. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Hankner to approve the payment <br />of 12,124.00 to Layne Minnesota Company for the <br />replacement of Well No. 1 Pump and Motor to be charged <br />to Water Fund Account No. 700-122-4575. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported a resident of <br />Bona Road had asked for an update of the project for <br />their area, the proposed Greenfield Estates. He <br />reported Barr Engineering has completed most of the <br />field work, and they will be meeting with a represen- <br />tative of the rdms-v County Soil and Water Conservation <br />District soon. Bar:: will ;re presenting a progress <br />report to the Council on November 16, at 7 PA1, and <br />the final report should follow two to three weeks after -_ <br />that presentation. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the paperwork on <br />the street light easement by Burger King has been sent <br />to Burger King's Florida office, so it may take some <br />time for it to get back to the City. <br />k--Ilerk/Administrator Pauley reported the City had <br />received a letter from the Fridley branch of the U.S. -- <br />Post Office, asking permission to paint the curbs <br />yellow by all cluster mail boxes in the City, and he <br />reviewed the areas of the City Oxat would be involved. <br />It was the concensus of the Council that it would be <br />alright to do so. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed the memo received <br />from Short Elliott Hendrickson regarding the leaking <br />of the existing roof gutter and down spouts, and he <br />requested Council approval for their replacement. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley also reported that the <br />Building Inspector has advised a layer of protective <br />material is needed to be placed between the metal roof <br />deck and roof insulation, and he recommend perlite <br />board. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve the Staff <br />recommendation regarding the replacement of the fascia <br />and down spouts and the addition of insulation on the <br />roof, in the amounts of $2,285 and $1,760 respectively. <br />ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
